Where, in his previous series, presenter Ruben Terlouw traced the River Yangtze, passing through China from north to sound, he is now criss-crossing this huge country. The four episodes of this third series focus on the dreams of the Chinese people, dreams about the future of their country, love, their children. Watching them makes it clear how fast China has been developing under the leadership of President Xi Jinping, and how those developments affect the lives of the Chinese people. But also that dreams sometimes just don't come true.
