Even though the civil war in Bosnia ended in 1995, many Bosnians are confronted with their memories every day. War criminals lead comfortable lives and the masses remain silent. When will the silence be broken and we can finally start writing history?

In this episode, Fikret Bačić tells his heart-breaking story. He has been looking for the bodies of his 31 murdered relatives for more than 20 years. Many of his neighbours know where they are buried, but refuse to talk about the events.

We also meet Nikola Kuridža, who did learn about Nazi Germany's concentration camps at school, but nothing about the camps in his own town of Prijedor during the civil war. Now he and his peers are trying to break the silence, but the older generation isn't happy about their perseverance.

Ramza shares her story about hell-on-earth hotel Vilina Vlas in Višegrad, which is once again a place where guests are pampered.

And then a glimmer of hope. For years, Bosnian Muslim soldier Daut lived with the belief that he had killed a Bosnian Serb soldier on the frontlines near Srebrenica. Until they met again 14 years later under completely different circumstances.
