Metropolis 2

In 2020 we’ve seen these people more often than we’ve seen most of our relatives: the people who deliver the takeaway meals and packages we order. And yet most of the time we don’t even know their names. In Metropolis we get to know some remarkable delivery people across the globe. For example, Yohanes, who delivers sheep to people’s doors in Ethiopia. He ties the animal to his back, steps on his bike and when he arrives at the customer’s house, he will often slaughter animal for them too. In Indonesia we spend a night with someone who delivers prawn crackers. His cargo weighs next to nothing, but when it’s windy outside he has a serious problem.
