My Generation @War

The documentary series My Generation @War shows raw portraits of ten young people affected by the war in Ukraine. A generation with common dreams, ideals and role models. What have their lives looked like since the start of the war, on February 24th 2022? They are forced to deal with violence and death, but also refuse to give up on their youth and dreams. My Generation at War gives a personal and intimate insight behind the news images, by use of personal social media, making it look and feel like a film.


Episode overview:

Episde 1: Borthers in Arms. An explosion shatters the lives of renowned DJ-duo Vlad (23) and Andrii (26).

Episode 2: Fight or Flight. The stories of former lawyer Olha and student Taisiia.

Episode 3: Music at War. Singers Daniil (25) and Taras (35) are deployed as medics to the front line.

Episode 4: Drag at War. Every weekend Arthur/ Aura (32) and Dima/Cruella (18) perform as drag queens in a Kyiv nightclub.

Episode 5: Online War. Dasha (33) and Olga (23) fight the war with their mobile phones on the frontline and working for President Zelensky.
