In these two series of 8 episodes each British writer Redmond O’Hanlon will travel along the same path as his heroes, the explorers from the 19th century.

In this new second series he follows male ánd female explorers, like Lady Stanhope that were ahead of their time. O’Hanlon travels from  the desserts of Africa to Japan, from Angola  to the gold mines deep in the jungle of  New Guinea. He knows his characters as if they were his personal friends. More than adventure alone it will be a rollercoaster trip through the 19th century, the dreams, the hypocrisy and ignorance of Europe, the shock that came with the discovery of total different cultures.
