The Naked Truth About Sex!

What do youngsters expect from their first time? Why do they share nude pictures, and how is real sex different from the extreme porn they can find so easily? In the format The Naked Truth about Sex!, 'Sex Sisters' Krista and Marcelle Arriëns put sex education in 2022 under the magnifying glass, and find it sadly lacking.

Episode 1 is about the first time. Many Dutch kids say they’re not satisfied with the sex education they get at school: a few hours as part of the biology curriculum, mostly about the technical side of sex. They often find themselves in uncomfortable sexual situations, learn little or nothing about the pleasures of sex, and find it hard to discuss with their parents.

In this series, Krista and Marcelle step in to explore what’s missing from the current approach. They spend six months at a secondary school in Amsterdam, sitting in on sex education lessons and exploring new ways of teaching the subject by standing in front of classes themselves.
