Sil (10) and Merlijn (11) are about to go on a big journey: they will visit a refugee camp on Lesbos for a week.

From their mothers – who both work in refugee camps – they’ve heard the stories about the children who live there. Now they want to see and experience it for themselves. First encounters such as handing out food and careful greetings soon become playful gatherings and good conversations in several languages. Is this the start of a friendship?
