The Caps Club (series for age 7-14) is about a group of children that all have a physical disability and solve mysteries together from their secret tree house. 

The Caps Club I - the Mystery of the King of Spades exists of five children and was founded by Tom and Sam. Tom always wears a cap, and therefore is nicknamed Cappie. This explains the origin of the name of this special club. From the secret tree hut, named The Caps Hut, they will solve the Mystery of the King of Spades. It all begins when a painting is stolen and the discovery of a strange device and six playing cards.

The Caps Club II - The Fall Of The King The city of Hughevliet is preparing a big and festive event to celebrate their 400 years of liberty. They commemerate the day the King banished the Regent and the Hughenoten. And rumour has it that the current King might be visiting for the festivities. The tables turn, when Caps Club finds a ruin in the forest, witnesses a strange gathering and finds some sort of evidence for the existance of the secret cave in the museum of the city. A new mystery starts.. 

The Caps Club III - 

The Caps Club kids are in secundary school. They don’t spend too much time at their tree house anymore, only Tom (cappie) does. The others like to hang around the little square in town. One day, Tom smells a strange scent at the tree house and discovers there is an intruder there. Thanks to his friend, the blind Mister Fu, Tom learns to develop his sense of smell. He discovers the mysterious scent comes from a lotus flower. There is a Chinese girl hiding in the tree house and she is very afraid. He shares this with the other Caps Club kids but they don’t believe him. Tom decides to solve the mystery himself…


The Lucille Werner Foundation, established by television host and social entrepeneur Lucille Werner, has produced this series in coorporation with BINGfilm & TV and TROS Television. What makes this series exceptional is the fact that the main character Tom van Hulle, is a boy that in real life is coping with a visual impairment.
